The International Pediatric Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery Group
Providing education and resources for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric otolaryngology disorders
What is IPOG?
The International Pediatric Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery Group (IPOG) is an international organization that provides education and resources in the form of consensus and guideline papers for both common and complex disorders in pediatric otolaryngology.
The group was created in 2015 after pediatric otolaryngologists from the around the world joined and recognized the potential for variability and inequality in pediatric otolaryngology care delivery across institutions worldwide. IPOG’s objective is to streamline care delivery to patients, support the sharing of knowledge and innovation and minimize disparities in access to quality care.

Anyone can become an IPOG member and there is no cost to register.
We encourage members to contribute to a current project or alternatively, initiate a new project. IPOG membership does not automatically confer authorship on submitted publications. Members are required to provide intellectual contribution on publications in order to be added as authors. Naturally, participants should not feel a need to contribute to projects outside of their areas of expertise.
There are a limited number of projects that can be managed each year, therefore project ideas should be submitted to the Board for approval beforehand. The Board may also choose to assign the management of a project to institutions or members with known expertise in a specific area.
